Craig Ashley David has always been and always will be the business. He's just so dope. I mean he can sing, rap, DJ, AND he has 3 first names...what more could you want? I stan for him so much that I literally scream like a 12 yr old girl whenever I see him. I've been a huge fan since he first came out in the U.K. (I had my international sources back then as well), and I was lucky enough to go overseas and get his album waaaaaaay before he was even mentioned on U.S. airwaves. Even though he hasn't released an album in the U.S. since 2002's Slicker Than Your Average, he's been hard at work internationally cranking out 2 more albums (2005's The Story Goes... and 2007's Trust Me) , and most recently released a greatest hits LP, and not surprisingly I own all of those albums.


My 3 favorite songs from him are...

"Can't Be Messing 'Round" (from Born to Do It) - The way the beat uses heavy 808 and strings to produce a hip-hop esque beat makes it perfect for Craig David's vocals to play with the tempo of his flow.

"What's Your Flava?" (from Slicker Than Your Average) - When I tell you that this will ALWAYS be my shit...I tell you no lie. Even the remix featuring Twista goes hard. But I'm kinda preturbed that Popeye's chicken tried to use this in their ad campaign last year though.

"Awkward (ft. Rita Ora)" (from Trust Me) - Love this song because I always love to hear when a man can admit to his mistakes (lol), but also how he's realized that it's too late.
